Tucked in the hamlet of Waytown, just a short walk from Netherbury this charming unspoilt pub offers excellent home cooked food. Sunday roasts a speciality!  and of course fine ales from the cask. Large garden with play area and decking overlooks stunning Dorset countryside. 
Dogs and walkers welcome, With a cosy bar and open log fire this can be a lovely pub in the winter months and with the large garden full of flowers that Pete take care of so well makes it great for families in the summer months also.

The Half Moon (Melplash)

Situated only 2 miles north of Bridport is the Half Moon in Melplash, Dorset. Surrounded by countryside, our menu offers something for everyone specialising in steaks and game, all sourced in close locality of West Dorset.
We have a lighter lunch menu including toasted cheese sandwiches and an exciting specials board.

 The Ollerod  

Dating from 13th Century The Ollerod is a magical Dorset country house full of character – the product of generations of history passing through its doors. Originally a clergy house, it now has its own unique style. ‘Ollerod’ is the old Dorset dialect, from the times of Thomas Hardy, for the Cowslip.
